Dr Rev Chuck Gass
 

 

Dr Rev Chuck Gass is currently a staff chaplain at the VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida; he previously was in private practice in pastoral psychotherapy as well as a chaplain for the Gainesville Police Department (Florida) and the St Matthews Police Department (Kentucky).

 

He was a key note speaker at the Mayo Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota; the Symposium of Patient Care (New York City), The American Society of Addictive Medicine and the Association of Psychotherapy. His work in the integration of spirituality in modern medicine is internationally known.

 

He holds doctorates in Ministry and Addictive Medicine; as well he is a Board Certified Chaplain, a Board Certified Diplomat in Psychotherapy and a fellow in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors. Dr Gass was the founder of Recovery Spirituality.

 

Rev Gass served in the Air Force from 1971 to 1975.

 

He and his wife Laurie ride their motorcycles to work, fish for recreation, and spend their leisure time enjoying their grandchildren.
